Fergal Keane

Fergal Keane is one of the BBC's most distinguished correspondents, having worked for the corporation in Northern Ireland, Africa, Asia, the US and the Balkans.

He has reported from some of the world's major trouble spots and is know for his hard-hitting, and often moving reports. He has been awarded a BAFTA, named Reporter of the Year on television and radio, and won honours from the Royal Television Society and the Sony Radio Awards.

He has also been named Reporter of the Year in the Amnesty…

Feargal is a columnist for the Independent,and a regular presenter on BBC Radio. He writes for a range of publcations and is the author of several books, his most recent being Letters Home.
